30 Minute Meal




So this one is for people who are short on time.A complete meal of Dal,Matar Pulao and Kadhai Paneer in just 30mins.

Pulao:
Ingredients:
Green Peas 3 tbsp
Basmati Rice 2 cups
Ghee 1tbsp
Salt
Water 4 cups

Method:
Mix everything together put in the rice cooker.Will be done in around 20-25mins.Can also be put in the microwave for 20mins but I find in the rice cooker the rice grains are more fluffy.

Dal:
Ingredients:
Moong Dal 2 Cups
Water 3.5 cups
Salt
Turmeric 2tsp
Ghee
Cumin seeds 2tsp
Hing 1tsp
Garlic crushed 1 tbsp

Method:
1.Pressure cook the dal with water,salt and turmeric for 3-4 whistles.
2.Heat ghee in a small wok.When it starts to smoke lightly add the hing,cumin and garlic and let cook for 1 minute.
3.Temper dal with this tadka.


Kadhai Paneer:
Ingredients:
Paneer 200gms cubed
Tomato 5 medium sized
Capsicum 1 medium chopped
Green chilli 1
Ginger-Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
Milk 1 cup
Cumin 1tsp
Coriander 1tsp
Tumeric 1tsp
Garam Masala 1tsp
Oil
Salt

Method:
1.Whizz 4 Tomatoes,Ginger Garlic Paste,Chilli,all the dry spices except for garam masala and salt.
2.Heat the oil in a kadhai.When it starts smoking add the tomato paste just grinded.
Fry for 5 mins .
3.Add the capsicum,chopped tomato,paneer.Fry for 5 mins.
4.Add milk,garam masala and salt.Bring to boil.Done!
